Reward everyone based on how well they perform
That’s it . . . period

If you’re looking for improved performance
Look no further
Here’s why

There is a leadership principle
That has proven true
Time and time again

The principle is this
Rewarded behavior gets repeated

If you reward high performers
They keep performing well

If you reward average performers
They keep performing average

If you reward poor performers
They keep performing poorly

Is this what you’re getting?

Is this what you want?

If the people you lead
Are not performing as they should
It is because you are allowing it

Is this where you plan to stay?
Or do you want to crank performance up?

The good news is this
Your performance as a leader
Is in your hands

Sure you can keep things the same
As long as the one above allows it
But that can change
